Workplace Emergency First Aid & CPR (OFA Level 1 Equivalent) - Vancouver
This 1 day Red Cross course is approved by WorkSafeBC as Occupational First Aid (OFA) Level 1 Equivalent, and so meets the requirements of all workplaces that require OFA Level 1. It provides an overview of the practical skills needed to react effectively to workplace emergencies including cardiovascular emergencies, choking or other airway emergencies, prevention of disease transmission, and potentially life-threatening illnesses. Successful completion results in 3 year Certifications in OFA Level 1 Equivalent & CPR Level A. Certification cards are issued on the day of the course. Each student also receives a 147 page Canadian Red Cross B.C. Workplace Emergency First Aid (WEFA) Student Manual.
